About the Item
This ceramic vase was made in Kasama, Japan. Kasama is a traditional and famous pottery producing area.
It is very old vase.
It has a very beautiful light blue glaze and has a wonderful view. The light blue gradation and the unartificial pattern are wonderful.
Fortunately, this ceramic vase is in beautiful condition with no cracks.
It can also hold water.
This ceramic vase is reminiscent of the spirit of "wabi-sabi", a Japanese philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection and impermanence.
It is modest, unassuming, unconventional, and the polar opposite of vulgarity.
It is a rare gem.
Mouth diameter 145mm.
Weight about 17kg.
Since ancient times, people have created and inherited the necessary tools from familiar materials to survive in the battle against the harsh nature, and have cultivated a lifestyle culture.
The more things are used, the more flavor they gain and reflect the lives of people.
In an age where cheap, disposable products are the norm, the act of repeatedly improving and remaking everyday items opens up new worlds.
Based on this philosophy, we carefully select and collect beautiful, powerful, and unique Japanese antiques.
