Extraordinary Japanese museum quality contemporary decorative porcelain vase, painstakingly intricately hand painted in stunning hues of blue on a beautifully shaped body, a signed masterpiece by second-generation master porcelain artist of the Imari-Arita region of Japan, highly acclaimed for his painstakingly detailed portrayal of historical scenes and themes combined with intricate geometric patterns and this stunning piece is a testimony to his mastery in both styles. The artist faithfully depicts in great detail this stunning scene of camellias in full bloom with petals gracefully falling into the pond in different hues of underglaze blue. This piece is from the artist's exquisite bird collection. He exhibits excellence in both underglaze and polychrome overglaze techniques in this breathtaking piece. The rim and base are decorated with his signature intricate patterns to add another layer of elegance to this memorable piece. This stunning porcelain vase comes in a custom made wooden case signed by the artist. Dimensions: H 9 in D 10 in.
