Vintage, Hand thrown Italian San Marino pottery vase, circa 1960's. San Marino is a tiny independent republic within Italy similar to the Vatican. This is a piece with many of the hallmarks of great 60's Italian pottery: squeeze bag enamelling, with 2 figures, Male on one side & Female on the other, in a geometric style, lava glaze, multi-color, etc. Well marked. 18 1/2"- high, 7"- diameter. Excellent condition.
