About the Item

Exceptional quality turquoise fat lava vase. Beautiful peacock coloring. Large in stature. Classic European vase shape with its long slender body and sharp shoulders. One of the most wild glazes I’ve ever seen in my life. Tiny bubbles throughout the entire vase with large crater like brown spots. Truly exceptional craftsmanship. Attributed to Guido Gambone however we were not able to identify that with certainty. Definitely equal in craftsmanship to Guido Gambone, Marcello Fantoni, Alvino Bagni, etc. Vase is 19” tall, 7.5” wide and deep with a 2.5” wide mouth. Vase was converted into a lamp and has a hole in the bottom and a channel for a cord. Can easily be converted back to a vase or plugged to become water tight.
