Large Saint Clement Art Deco Crackle Ceramic Vase, circa 1930s

About the Item

Stunning Art Deco ceramic vase by Saint Clement, France with white crackle glaze finish and floral decor near the bottom, circa 1930s. The crackle clear glaze was a popular technique for animal and figural statues as well as decorative vases during the Art Deco period in France. Most of those vases were designed and manufactured by Saint Clement or St. Clement for Le Printemps Department Store in Paris and sold under their 'Atelier Primavera' label. Impressively sized this vase measures 20" height x 12" diameter. Can be used as a flower vase, planter or umbrella stand.
