Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, silver plated vase, Carl M Cohr, Denmark, 1900s. Extremely rare, this Jugendstil vase is an exquisite example of the early 1900s works, remarkably realized by the renowned Danish manufacturer Carl M Cohr. In excellent overall condition, some normal patina and wear accordingly to its age. Marked to the bottom with "Two towers" mark, N.S., later stamped with D.S. - the mark for the plating quality. Cohr used DS marking from 1931 on. The two towers mark was introduced in Denmark in 1921 and used between 1921-1929 for the silver plated items...
