About the Item
We offer for sale a ceramic combo produced in the 70s, part of the large production of extremely textured East German ceramics called "Fat Lava".
It is a vase and a jug/vase of two different sizes but with the same decorative motif.
The earthenware color of the bottom is slowly invaded by a tan and brown earthy dripping, with mauve shades; warm, natural, earthy colors that together with the vivid texture of the fat lava create a calming effect result.
The dimensions are as follows:
Vase Height 27cm diameter 9.5cm
Jar Height 21cm Width 15cm Depth 12cm
This type of vases are splendid in large numbers on a table or a sideboard.
We have tried, in our photos, to suggest a combination; here for example you can find them combined with another vintage vase from East Germany always in earth tones.
The vases are in good vintage condition, they do not have imperfections.
