About the Item

A tall cylindrical ceramic vase with floral relief and vibrant turquoise glaze. Model 407-34, bearing the original Schlossberg Keramik label. Dimensions: 34 cm height × 15 cm diameter. This design aligns with the aesthetic language of Bodo Mans, renowned for his work at Bay Keramik and later co-founder of the avant-garde "Muffel" ceramic group. Liesel Spornhauer, a former Schlossberg designer (until 1959), was part of the collective, suggesting an intersection of influence. Condition: Excellent overall. A discreet chip is present on the bottom inner edge — not visible when the piece is upright. A museum-worthy collectible, blending sculptural design with rich ceramic heritage.
