About the Item

An Austrian poker set of four ashtrays designed by Ferdinand Vogel. Gorgeous set of four players ashtrays, created in Vienna Austria during the art deco period, back in the 1930. Crafted at the silversmith atelier of Ferdinand Vogel in the shape of the four symbols of the cards deck. Made up in solid .800/.999 silver with a delicate hammered and polished finishes. Weight: Combined of 270.2 Grams, (173.21 Dwt). Measurements: Average of 140 mm by 121 mm by 14 mm (5.51 x 4.76 x 0.55 Inches). Hallmarks: Each piece is stamped with Austrian post 1922 marks, the W4 mark for the city of Vienna, the maker's mark FV, associated to Ferdinand Vogel, the mark for the assay of the .800 silver and the retailer mark W+G, and the manufacturing date 1930. Note: These four pieces has been properly polished preserving the vintage patina and the hammered patterns. Condition: The overall condition of this set is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. These four pieces has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity. INVENTORY REF: D061223AENH/7.794

Pair of shakers designed by Schofield. Beautiful pair of salt and pepper shakers, created in Baltimore by The Schofield Company, back in the 1905. This pair is from the iconic pattern named Baltimore Rose and was carefully crafted in the art nouveau style with a repousse of floral motifs in solid .925/.999 sterling silver. Pear shaped and mounted in three sabots and fitted with removable lids on top. Weight: 155.45 Grams, (99.64 Dwt). Measures: 51 mm by 115 mm (2.01 x 4.53 Inches).
