About the Item
This ashtray is part of a small collection that we purchased in a Roman house and includes 2 other pieces, all for sale here on firstdibs, made with various carved minerals.
Green onyx, rose quartz and agate handcrafted in a perfect balance between the restless and raw charm of nature and the desire of man to discipline it.combination of natural roughness and polished surface.
All three pieces in marble and semi-precious stones formed a luminous constellation on a dark smoked glass coffee table.
The piece we offer here is made of green onyx and its free form is a perfect combination between the natural roughness of the carved sides and polished surface of the center.
Made in Italy and datable around the middle of the 20th century modern, this ashtray is in good vintage condition, intact and free of chippings showing a splendid patina of time.
