Mid-Century Fused Art Glass Ashtray by Higgins

About the Item
Mid-century fused art glass ashtray by Higgins, circa 1950s. The pattern, called “Tortoiseshell” is created by sandwiching enameled glass panels of periwinkle blue and avocado green between tinted lavender glass panels to create an atomic starburst design. Signed “Higgins” in gold on bottom right corner. The piece measures 5" W x 7” D x .5” H and is in very good vintage condition. #1818.
