XX Century Italian Solid 800 Silver Ashtray with decorated handle

About the Item

Italian ashtray produced in the mid-20th century. The ashtray is round and smooth. A hinge has been fixed in the middle of the lid that allows it to open in a half-moon shape. A face of an oriental goddess has been welded on the front of the ashtray to facilitate opening. Under the lid, 2 cigarette holders have been welded. The handle, round and sloping, has been embossed with figures of oriental gods and interspersed with flowers and a knurled background. Made in Alessandria - Italy - in the silversmith's workshop of Cesa 1882, operating in the silversmith's sector since the end of the 19th century
