Antique American Coin Silver Tray and Sterling Silver Goblets

A magnificent, fine and impressive, large pair of antique George V English sterling silver bowls / centrepieces in the Art Nouveau style, an addition to our presentation silverware collection. These magnificent and large antique George V English sterling silver bowls/centrepieces have a compressed circular form onto a knopped pedestal and domed circular foot. The plain body of each piece is encircled with an impressive band of applied and chased olive leaf festoon decoration consisting of overlapping leaf designs with a bead motif to subdivision. Both sides of each piece is further ornamented with exceptional and large applied vacant cartouche bordered with a ribbon tied oak and olive branch, in addition to a scrolling and leaf motif to the upper portion. The upper portions of these concaved cartouches are subtly elevated and joined to the moulded decoration to the shaped rim. These antique silver bowls are fitted with impressive and large Art Nouveau style scrolling handles with plain plateaued upper portions and subtle thumbpieces. A fine and impressive, large antique George V English sterling silver centerpiece; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This fine antique George V sterling silver centerpiece has a circular rounded paneled form with an octagonal tapering pedestal and knop to a circular paneled spreading foot. The surface of the large centerpiece is plain and unembellished. The moulded rim and foot of this fine centerpiece are ornamented with a band of pierced geometric diaper pattern decoration. Each of the two original hallmarked baskets have a rounded paneled form onto a collet foot and are embellished with identical bands of ornamentation to that of the central bowl.
