About the Item

A fine American Art Deco Period pitcher. In cut glass. With a sterling silver handle and silver bands around the body & neck. Decorated throughout with cut flower and leaf patterns. With a removable strainer/spout insert and a lid. Marked to the silver mount. Simply a wonderful cocktail pitcher! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some light content haze at the base of the pitcher, some light scratches to the strainer insert, and some light dings and indentations to the silver handle. Otherwise, there is some fritting to the facets here and there, some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marks: Marked Sterling where the lower band and handle meet. Fineness: Marked Sterling for silver fineness. Measurements: Height: ca. 11 7/8 in. Width: ca. 6 in. Depth: ca. 3 5/8 in.
