Art Deco Style Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker
About the Item
Art Deco Style, sterling silver cocktail shaker, Reed and Barton, Taunton, Mass., year-date marked for 1951. Measures 5 1/8 inches high x over 3 1/3 inches diameter (at widest point) x 4 inches from outer edge of spout to outer edge of shaker. Weighs 4.890 troy ounces. There is a small dint on underside edge (see photos) that is commensurate with age and use and does not affect stability. Small factory-made hole in top of lid releases pressure so lid is easily removed when wet. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In good antique condition.
