Bernasconi Sterling Silver Barware Cocktail Champagne Stirrers, circa 1940
About the Item
This stunning Italian Art Deco sterling silver barware champagne or cocktail stirrers was manufactured by renowned silversmith B. Bernasconi, Milan, at his silverware store in Via Manzoni, circa 1940. The bar tool is built with six sterling silver arrow-shaped stirrers and swizzle sticks stored on a sterling silver holder. It has a modernist and minimalist shape, with refinement and typical Art Deco style. The underside is marked with legal hallmarks. The hallmarks are engraved under the base and read 925—Clover logo—silversmith serial number—silversmith name in block letters.
Measurements:
Overall: 3.38 in diameter (8.5 cm) x 6.32 in high (16 cm).
Stirrers are 4.32 in long (11 cm).
