About the Item

Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this sublime antique 1978 David Shaw Silverwear LTD cut glass crystal Whiskey decanter with Sterling Silver collar
A good looking and decorative piece, it has been wonderfully cut and looks expensive and important in any setting
MAKERS MARK:- DSS for David Shaw Silverwear LTD
TOWN:- Panthers head for London
DATE LETTER:- D for 1978
STERLING:- Sideways facing Lion
The condition is good used and vintage, there maybe the odd imperfections you can’t really see, antique glass always has signs of age and use, to my eyes this looks to be in perfect condition apart from a very common fault which is inside the silver collar, the neck is fractured, this is due to contact with the stopper

Condition
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
