About the Item
This fabulous Karim Rashid Designer space age ice bucket is a combination of sapphire blue lucite/ plastic as the dome top and stainless steel. It is from 2003 and out of production. It is most likely hard to come by now. I do not think this was ever used as it came in the original box but we had to throw it away. When you remove the dome shaped top the ice things sit inside a container and a perforted desgn stainless steel cap holds the ice cubes and enables the water to drain down to the bottom. Well designed and thought out. It has great weight. The ice thongs are 7.5" L or W and 2.85" Deep each side. They have rubberized sapphire blue figure eight grips. Tres chic and a wonderful conversation piece for your bar and entertaining needs. A great collectable. It says Copco Copyright with stymbol 2003 Wilton Industries Inc.
The sapphire blue color is jewel toned for the dome top.
