MCM Extensive Set of 22-Karat Gold and Black Coin Barware and Glasses by Cera

About the Item

Very large extensive set of coin Mid-Century Modern barware and glasses by Cera. The set consisting of eight highball glasses, eight 5-ounce rocks glasses, seven footed beer glasses, and three nut bowls in metal carrier. All in fabulous vintage condition with all 22-karat gold and black design intact, circa mid-20th century. This barware is so Mad Men!! How wonderful it will look in your Mid-Century Modern bar. And so much fun to use to serve your guests. The large set is comprised of eight of the 5.5-inch tall highball glasses, seven of the 5.25-inch tall footed beer glasses, eight of the 3.25-inch tall rocks glasses, and three 2.25-inch tall nut bowls in their original brass plated carrier. All with the black and 22-karat gold antique coin design attributed to Bob Wallack and all in excellent condition. The highball and rocks glasses are marked with the Cera half and half crown, the nut bowls are not marked; however, the beer glasses have the Federal Glass Company mark which is somewhat confusing. Possibly Federal Glass supplied beer glass blanks to Cera, as was the case for most of Dorothy Thorpe glassware, but we have not, yet, determined this fact. This incredible set of glassware should be yours. We know you want it. Note: We also have an additional set of eight 5.5-inch tall highball glasses in slightly less than perfect condition listed as well.
