This rare Early 20th Century Tuk-Away Butcher Block was handcrafted from solid wood in the early 1900's. The piece features a round butcher block with three hand-carved rings on the side and rest on three peg feet. Perfect for the countertop, this butcher block is hallmarked on the underside reading Tuk - Away, Texas Mfg, Brenham TX, 3. These "Tuk-away" butcher blocks were made in Texas in the late 1800s through the early 1940s. The piece exhibits wear, cracks and repairs which is typical for its age and only adds to the charm of this old world butcher block. This Early 20th Century Wood Countertop Tuk-Away Butcher Block with its beautiful aged patina from years of use will be the perfect addition to any kitchen.
