Art Deco Modernist Centerpiece Basket Bowl in Macassar Wood, Chrome and Glass
About the Item
This stunning Art Deco centerpiece, serving bowl, or fruit or bread basket was manufactured in France circa 1930. The Macassar wood sides have two large chromed metal ball handles. A chromed metal structure holds a shaped glass panel on each side. Each glass panel can be removed from the base for cleaning purposes. This iconic Art Deco minimalist design is perfect for presenting fresh fruit or for an exquisite breakfast party featuring bread, brioche, or croissants. There is no visible designer's mark.
Dimensions: 14.19 in wide (36 cm) by 7.50 in deep (19 cm) by 6.32 in high (16 cm).
