About the Item
A sculptural silver & turquoise bowl designed and manufactured in Mexico in the 1980's by Emilia Castillo.
The piece is inspired in the fairy tale "Alicia en el Pais de Las Maravillas" (Alice in Wonderland) the monkey sculpture holds the boat shaped bowl and turquoise beads are hanging from the bottom of the bowl.
The piece is made either copper or brass with a silver overlay.
The piece is labeled Emilia Castillo, Mexico, Marca Registrada (M.R.) TO-85 Plateado (Silver Plate) , #8.
