XXI Century Italian Solid Silver 800 Shell Centerpiece with Angel
About the Item
"Shell" centerpiece in solid 800 silver completely handmade with angel.
The object was made from a silver plate, shaped and embossed in the shape of a shell.
On the outer edge, a design of scrolls and acanthus leaves, typical of the Baroque style and interspersed between them with a burnished knurling, has been embossed and chiselled.
To finish the edge, a border with small shells was welded.
In the concave part of the centerpiece, the typical shell stripes were chiseled and subsequently finished with a light satin finish.
An angel, made with the casting technique and subsequently finished smooth and shiny, is sitting on the inside of the edge.
Feet of different sizes have been welded under the centerpiece, to give movement to the object and ensure that it remains oblique and clearly visible in all its masterly workmanship compared to the support surface.
