About the Item

A large milk bowl crafted from ball clay features a rooster motif in red, green, and brown. This piece, originating from the mid-19th century, is adorned with engobe—a mixture of pipe clay and water, tinted with manganese for brown, copper oxide for green, or iron oxide for red.
