Freeform ceramic pitcher by renowned french workshop Accolay.
Made in France in the 1950s.
From the "Gauloise" series.
Deep and rich blue glaze on the outside with a black interior.
Very textured, great example from this series.
Signed Accolay underneath.
Close to mint condition.
Accolay's workshop was very popular from the 1950s till the 1970s, it was ideally situated on the way from Paris to the southeast of France.
Renowned ceramists started as potter's carier in that workshop such as Raphael Giarrusso and Georges Pelletier.
