About the Item
The beautiful pattern and intricacies of this geometric textural vintage Italian salt glaze ceramic vintage bowl has great influence and style of the work of the great Fantoni. The colors are exquisite, unusual and rich looking. It is a tapestry and weave of color and great design with textural glaze. This is an early work of Italian ceramics from the 1950s that is signed but hard to read. We have determined that it is the work of Luis Zambelli. This is most likely a studio piece. It has an old world meets Italian meets other influences. The colors range from blue to purple to turquoise, to pink to red, to orange to yellow to black to brown, etc. This is stunning as a decorative bowl and or object. This is truly a work of art in ceramic form. It is much more spectacular in person and is Mid-Century Modern. The colors are exquisite as well as the designs. In recap, It is like a painting in ceramic form.
