Glazed ceramic spice rack. Talavera de la Reina, 18th century. Spice rack with three wells in the shape of an equilateral triangle, made of ceramic and decorated with high-temperature enamels typical of the Talavera polychrome: manganese black for the profiles and oranges and yellows of antimony, copper green and cobalt blue. It is a classic-style piece, with clean lines that delimit the different parts of the structure, well organized decoration and synthetic motifs that refer to the Greco-Latin ornamental repertoire, such as the palmette and the acanthus leaf. · Size: 16x14x4,5 cms International Buyers – Please Note: for those articles that need Export Permits (those older than 100 years), the obtaining of the Permit will be processed without additional expenses (if you choose the seller sends it to you), but the period for the obtention of it may vary from 10 to 35 days.
