Goldscheider Vienna Art Déco Figurine 'The Captured Bird', By Lorenzl, Ca. 1935

About the Item

One of the most famous models from the Wiener Goldscheider manufactory: A depiction of the dancer Niddy Impekoven (1904-2002) during her dance ‘The Captive Bird’, which she performed in the early 1920s: The dancer, balancing on her tiptoes, raises her arms forwards and backwards, taking a step to the right.
