About the Item
A great group of older Sant’ Anna tiles from Lisbon, Portugal. With colorful and Primitive depictions of Ponies, Figs, Cat, Artichoke and Wine Glasses. The company in production from the 1700’s. Solid feeling with good weight and suitable as Summer coasters or mounting. Each with markings on the back of the company name and “Portugal”.
Dimensions: 5.5” wide by 5.5” deep by .25” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Expected acceptable wear including minor nicks, some age staining and a hairline to the glaze only of the Artichoke all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is quintessentially Folk Art.
