The Kuznetsov factory was in Volkhov, Russia, was established in 1889, one of many owned by the Kuznetsov family, producing faience chiefly for the Ottoman and Central Asian market, where it was much in demand. Their designs were mainly floral and ikat-like to attract attention of Central Asian and Ottoman Empire Markets. After the dissolution of Soviet Union, along with lots of textiles and other Works , these plates started making their way to the Western markets. Technically they are interesting since they are spay painted through some stecils. Recently, they became Wall decoration for many interriors.
