This pair of 1960s turquoise glazed ceramic Chinese Pho Dogs (also known as Foo Dogs or Fu Lions) are decorative guardian figures that reflect traditional Chinese symbolism and craftsmanship. These pieces combine cultural heritage with a striking mid-century modern aesthetic due to the bold turquoise glaze, making them both protective symbols and stylish decor. The Glazed ceramic Vivid turquoise blue, a popular color in mid-20th century decorative arts, is in perfect condition. The: Chinese guardian lion (Foo Dog) figures, traditionally used to protect against negative energies Each figure is seated on a square plinth with stylized base designs, Intricately detailed manes, expressive facial features, and curled tails.
