Pair Of Tamara Aladin "Coral" Table Lamps In Opaline Glass, Blue & Green, 1970s

About the Item

A pair of stunning table lamps in colourful blown opaline glass designed by Tamara Aladin, and manufactured by Riihimäen lasi Oy in Finland between 1975-1976. Both lamps are in very nice original conditon apart from the shades which have been changed. Tamara Aladin (1932-2019) was a Finnish designer and glass artist best known for her works for Riihimäen lasi Oy, with whom she had a long standing career as a designer. In fact she was so prolific and her designs were so popular, that in the mid 1960s more than half of Riihimäen lasi's production was designed solely by her.
