About the Item

Heavily textured footed mortar / decorative bowl with sgraffito decoration throughout. The main color is ochre with an attractive top banding of blue and green. The interior design is a tree of life motif with three floral blooms composed largely of applied pinholes and linear details. Unsigned, but attributed to the ceramicist, Polk, of whom we have many similar pieces listed. Diameter: 5.38" x H: 3.25"
