6 designs...2 of each...a total of 12
These are ceramic plates or small chargers bearing the artwork of Fernand Lèger who was an important French modernist painter and designer who was associated early on with the Cubists.
These designs are from his "Acrobats" series (1943-1948). Its use of heavy black outlines and flat, pure color, is typical of Lèger's bold mature style.
Back stamped with monk-and-mountain in shield, and SALINS FRANCE.The collection can be split into two sets of six with each each set available for $2,500.00
