Empire Doré Saint Louis Crystal Etched Tumbler Glass Gilt Brass Music Box Holder

About the Item

This is a Saint Louis Crystal Empire style Nelly pattern etched tumbler glass. The etched glass features what appears to be some fern leaves forming multiples stars. Its upper border is decorated with a doré garland of scrolls and palmettos. The glass is unmarked because Saint Louis used a paper label before 1934 and it is lost. The verre a dents tumbler glass rest over an empire style doré brass round basket cup holder with handle marked HP, Paris music box. The basket is adorned with diamond lace like in its body and scrolls of acanthus leaves with flower in its handle. The basket music box stands over three sphere shaped feet. The song of the music box is LE SHEIK and it is working well.
