Wine chalice with green enamel sterling silver Salimbeni
About the Item
Wine chalice with round foot and stem in 925/1000 sterling silver gold plated with translucent fired enamel on guilloche. Drinking glass in blown Murano glass and hand-engraved with 18th century Venetian style decoration by the Salir company. Measurements: base diameter cm. 7.7 high cm. 8.3 - drinking glass diameter cm. 8 high cm. 8 - total height cm. 18 - silver weight g. 113. Designed by Giorgio Salimbeni in 1960 and manufactured in Florence at the Salimbeni company headquarters, with completely manual execution by artisan artists with a high thickness plate and large reinforcements suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamelling firings at approximately 750 < 800°
