Faience Water Vessel, “Pulcinella”, 18th Century

About the Item

A rare water cistern in the form of the character Pulcinella, likely produced in Moustiers, circa 1760. Water was added to the hole in his hat and he held 2 spigots (now missing) to control the flow of water being dispensed. Now mounted on a wood base.
