A French Provençal Henriot Quimper Faïence fish form plate, circa 1940.
Multiple plates are available for purchase.
Brightly glazed with the colors the Brittany region of France is known for, this ruffled edge plate shows a protruding fish head and tail with a central image of a dancing Breton couple wearing the traditional costume.
Measures: 9.5 in. diameter x 1.0 in. height

Light wear as expected of faïence, with the exception of one plate showing a sliver to the verso, unseen to the front.
