About the Item
A great plate dating to most probably the second half of the 17th century, delicate painting and shape. Its a Japanese version of a well know Late ming dish (see pictures also). Very interesting.
We have found a similar Japanese dish in the shibata collection, Volume 2, number 271. This is also a copy of a well known Ming dish. See pictures.
