About the Item

From the encounter between the historical archives of the Duomo di Milano and the imagery of Grand Tour by Vito Nesta, this unique collections of porcelains and fabrics were born. “Il Duomo che Non c’e” collects a selection of the most evocative designs that were proposed in the 19th century for the reconstruction of the cathedral’s facade, enriched with yellow palm leaves, once the plants that were planted in the flower beds in front of the Duomo. Buyers, through the purchase of these collections, will contribute to the restructuring of the spiers of the Duomo as part of the proceeds will be donated to the Veneranda Fabbrica for this purpose. Set of 6 dinner plates.

This 28x38cm oval tray is part of Il Duomo che Non c'è collection by Grand Tour by Vito Nesta. The classic and versatile shape is a must-have inside any home to embellish a table or beautify a wall. This tray portrays one of the facades that were proposed for the Milan Cathedral in the early 1900s, the collection in its entirety in fact wants to tell the story of all the projects that were proposed and that to this day are part of the heritage of the veneranda fabbrica el duomo.
