Set of 12, Antique Royal Vienna Neoclassical Ornithological Porcelain Plates
About the Item
An incredibly rare set of Royal Vienna plates depicting 12 different finely enamel painted bird plates accented by multicolored butterflies to the center bowls and a stunning vine motif to the borders which feature neoclassical urns, birds and more butterflies. This is a truly wonderful set to which is almost unheard of in the market. The backs of each feature the Royal Vienna Beehive mark.
Note: There is 12 pieces, however, 9 are more of a bowl form (9.875”) and 3 are in the dinner plate form. (9.75”). When displayed it is nearly unnoticeable.
