A complete set consisting of 5 plates and side plates with their two service cups.
Former sculptor, Pol Chambost (b. 1906 - d. 1983) is one of the more prominent ceramicist of the french post-war.
Through a great mastery of shapes and glazing techniques, his work is distinguished by the perfection of both the lines and the material.
Freely inspired by both the creations of Wedgwood and those of Bernard Palissy, according to Chambost himself, this highly sophisticated tableware has been featuring the most chic Parisian tables since its creation in 1952, from those of Louise de Villmorin to those of the Rothschild.
