About the Item
A unique blown glass fly catcher from France, 19th century in charming antique condition. The basin at the bottom of the clear glass dome is meant to be filled with a small amount of sugar water to lure the flies in. Three small feet lift the vessel from the table for the flies to enter, the opening at the top likely was corked to trap them in. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look.
