Antique Gilt and Coraline Glass Decanters Wine Glasses and Champagne Coupes

About the Item

Wonderful antique (late 19th century) hand-blown glassware set including two decanters, 11 champagne coupes, 7 wine glasses and 2 cordial glasses, each with fine white coraline designs of grapevines and leaves and gilding at the base and rim. Decanters with the letter S. Said to be from the estate of Mary Fiske Stoughton, whose home, built in 1882 by Henry Hobson Richardson, is a National Historica Landmark in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Decanters 9.5 inches tall. Coupes 4 1/2 inches, wine glasses 4 3/4 in and the cordials 3 1/8 in. Each in excellent condition with no visible losses and some rubbing wear to the gilding.
