About the Item

This stunning thick walled tear drop shaped vintage Murano sommerso hand blown glass vase or vessel is by Antonio da Ros for Cenedese. The color of the sea green light emerald teal layers into a peach colored half moon at the bottom with clear glass following that. Depending on how the light hits it, the colors vary and change a tad. The top is flat cut polished and the opening for flowers is 2.5" W x 2" D. The vase weight is hefty and the glass is chunky. It is from the 60's. It is a most uncommon work of glass and a true beauty. It has great form and color.
