About the Item
A stunning vintage Italian Murano Arte Vetrairia Muranese (AVEM) tutti frutti green glass dish of clam shell shape the inner bowl decorated with zanfirico polychrome and filigree canes on a scattered silver aventurine ground. The bowl is thickly formed in green tinted glass and stands on a narrow flat polished foot. Possibly designed by Dino Martens who produced a number of similar designs around this time. The bowl is offered in excellent original condition.
