Galliano Ferro Murano Large Pink & Opalescent White Glass Bowl
About the Item
This is a magnificent large and heavy (1.5kg unpacked) 1950/60's Venetian biomorphic glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of opaque pink and opalescent white glass. Attributed to Galliano Ferro, as I found another bowl which appears to be from the same range, same style and colours, with their factory label.
Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included.
Size
Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 9.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a minor manufacturing flaw - one faint dark streak in the glass, shown in final picture.
