Huge, stunning, rare and vintage midcentury centrepiece glass sculpture by Ermanno Nason (1928-2013) for Cenedese of Murano, Venice, Italy, somewhere between the years 1965-1972. An absolutely stunning piece of Mid-Century Murano glass by one of the best glass makers of his generation - Wonderful, curved free-standing fish (koi carp) sculpture captured in opaque light blue with a dark ocean blue undertone and clear glass applications. Would be perfect as a stand alone sculpture or desk object / paperweight or as a bookend for example.
A rare opportunity to be the new custodian and owner of this rare and beautiful Murano glass sculpture which is, in our opinion, a real museum piece.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. There is what appears to be a crack in the side of one of the fins - it has been looked at by our glass expert and appears to be solid, i.e. not a crack and seems to be a fold in the glass which captures the light, making it look similar to a crack.
