About the Item
A wonderful art deco glass bowl, made in opaline / opalescent glass. Made by British company Jobling in the 1930's, part of their 'Flower' pattern range (catalogue number 6000). Featured in the book "A Collectors Guide to Jobling 1930's Decorative Glass", page 41. Jobling's opalescent glass was made to rival Lalique glassware, and the range was named Opalique. The design registration number 777134 is embossed to the base of the bowl.
