Mid-Century Polish Glass Zodiac Block – Lion

About the Item

This captivating Mid-Century glass object from Poland is a beautiful representation of 1950s design. Crafted from solid, cast colored glass, the piece is rectangular in shape and reminiscent of a glass brick. The front showcases an artistic relief of the zodiac sign Lion – featuring both the symbol and a stylized figure of the mythological sea-goat, a timeless emblem of this astrological sign. Its bold coloration and the expressive, sculptural quality of the design are typical of the era.
